Welcome to Megacity Properties, a lettings and property management agency based in Manchester (M8) and letting across Manchester, Salford and Greater Manchester. Landlords get a property cared for as if it were our own, tenants get a home that is properly looked after, and everyone gets a team that answers its own phone.
What we do
Letting and managing,
and not much else.
Property management, HMOs and single lets. We deliberately do not spread into everything, because this job is won in the detail: the deposit protected on time, the certificate renewed before it lapses, the repair chased until it is done. Walid Mhana, who runs the agency, has spent fifteen years in letting and management across Manchester and Salford — long enough to have seen how most of it goes wrong, which is the useful part.

For landlords
Three levels of service at published prices: Tenant Sourcing at £295 inc. VAT for landlords new to us, Rent Collection at 5% and Full Management at 10% of the monthly rent, both inc. VAT. The standard does not change between them, only how much of the tenancy you hand over.

How licensing worksWhy it matters
Regulated, and accountable.
Anyone can call themselves a letting agent. These memberships mean our work is measured against standards set by independent national bodies, and that client money is held to a standard we do not set ourselves.
Membership requires Client Money Protection, professional indemnity insurance and continuing training. It means money held
on your behalf is guaranteed by a national scheme, not just by the agency holding it.
Membership T06217. An independent, government-approved body that holds member agents to a published code of practice,
protecting landlords and tenants alike.
Every deposit is protected with DPS Insured inside the statutory 30 days, and the prescribed information served. Failing to
do so exposes a landlord to a penalty of one to three times the deposit.
Membership of the National Residential Landlords Association, which keeps us current on legislation as it changes,
including what the Renters’ Rights Act altered this year.The company
